Dig my new amp.

Yeah, it needs a bit of work.

New handles, a fuse cap, an indicator light, a transformer mounting bracket, 4 12ax7s, 12 6L6s, the fan installed, the sides and back installed...

But it's gonna be awesome!!!

Let me figure out image sizes on this imageshack thing...

Brother in law, although he's referred to as "Uncle Timmy" as he's the kids' uncle...

Oddly enough, my uncle did "give" me my Marshall cab...

Re: Dig My New Amp.

TWELVE 6L6's?! Daaaayuuumn!!!

That thing's gonna be a beast once it's up and running. Envy...

Re: Dig My New Amp.

You gonna sublet apartments out of that thing? I've got some "southern" friends that need a good home on the down low.

Re: Dig My New Amp.

those are the greatest bass amps known to man. I don't care what Ampeg, or SWR...or anyone for that matter says! Mesa/Boogie struck gold with the 400+

I want one

can I have yours?

please? :)

j/k of course.....(unless I can actually have it)

Have fun bro!

Re: Dig My New Amp.

Niice, that's says "monsterous" all over it! I've been following your posts about Mesa Boogie bass amps so I can tell you've gotta be on cloud 9 at this point :)

Re: Dig My New Amp.

The projects that take awhile are usually the most rewarding.

Have a blast with that one!!!!

Re: Dig My New Amp.

Schweet.

Is the SWR still running like a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest?

Re: Dig My New Amp.

I'm going to rig up one of those little luggage caddys for it.

Seriously.:yourock:

Oh, I don't doubt it. I can't imagine what that thing must weigh fully-loaded.

You need to put one of those "team lift" stickers on the side of it.

I'll bet it sounds incredible, though.

Re: Dig My New Amp.
