That was excellent ... I have a 58-58-61 set in my G&L Legacy that are really great, as well. All those sounds and perfectly noiseless ... quieter than humbuckers ... a good set of single coils.

Also ... I put a set of Area-T pups in my Schecter Tele ... they may even be better.

Fantastic, thanks for the demo. I've just put a 58 and 67 in the neck and middle of my Strat. Nice to know that I'm not the only one loving these pickups.

Just curious... has anyone directly compared these to the older Virtual Vintage 2.1's or 2.2's? I had these in my strat and they just didn't sound right.... very compressed and lifeless compared to the SSL-1's I replaced them with.

Do they match up with humbuckers well? Or are you having to change levels going from guitar to guitar?
