Dimarzio competition (breed vs. ?)

I'm currently looking into buying a new bridge humbucker for my alder bodied tele, and I was wondering what Seymour Duncan pickup is comparable to the Dimarzio Breed? The sound I'm after is very fat, creamy, harmonically rich, dynamic, and most of all, natural. I don't want a pickup that doesn't let the sound of my guitar through, I want it to enhance the above features.

get a dimarzio breed if u want something that sounds like a breed

+1 on that. dimarzio sounds like dimarzio. i wish duncan did make a couple of those kinds of pups, like the dp160 norton, but they have some great stuff of their own

Re: Dimarzio competition (breed vs. ?)

thats what i was thinking, but I also know seymour duncan is a highly respected pickup maker, so I had to check.

It won't sound like the Breed, but since you said "very fat, creamy, harmonically rich, dynamic, and most of all, natural"... then check out the Custom Custom
