Dimarzio Ionizer vs. Eclipse

I'm planning on buying a very cheap 8 string and replacing the tuners and pickups. I'm going to put hipshot tuners (unless someone suggests something better for a similar price) and I was planning on putting Dimarzio Ionizer 8's in it until they announced the eclipse model (I love animals as leaders). Now I want one of each, which one would be better for neck and bridge?

Compare the sepcs of your guitar to Tosin's and Javier's. Which ever is closest is the set I'd go with.

thanks but not actually what I was asking, I want on of each set but I don't know whether the Ionizer or Eclipse would be better for neck and which would be better for bridge

Well, based on what I've heard and read, I'd go with an Eclipse set.

Or if you want one of each. Eclipse bridge Ionizer neck.

Well what are the specs on the guitar you're looking at?

It is more like Tosins. It's Basswood body, 26.5" scale, bolt on maple neck, 350mm radius, 24 Jumbo frets, hard tail.
