That pickup sucks to be honest. I just heard one the other day...completely useless for anything but extreme metal.

I'd take almost any Dimarzio over that thing.

Basically, what I want is a tone most identical to Slayer. What I meant by "low bass" was, I want more mids than bass. I dont like my sound to be drowned out by bass like with the Invader. I just want it to sound as DEATH-metal as possible

A Super Distortion would also cut it though.

+1 for the Super3 if you want mids mids and more mids without flabby bass. It's basically a normal Super Distortion with the bass and treble rolled back and the mids on steroids.
