DiMarzios and Duncans

Hello Forum,
I’m new to the group and new to even any forum for that matter. So I will apologize now if I do something wrong or don’t follow protocol.

My question is when using Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan’s together do you have to do any specific wiring to make sure they function properly? I believe the term is in or out of phase. I love both brands and would love to have this combo. So can it be done and does it require special wiring? I’m desperate please help... thx in advance guys.

Welcome to the forum!

Both brands of pickups should work fine together, however, the wire colors are different, so you have to figure out what each wire does. Once you have that, everything is good.

Had a Gravity Storm neck for a while paired with several Duncans in the bridge, they all worked fine.
