dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

Re: dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

it'll fit, regardless of it being F-spaced or not.

mine fits fine :)

Re: dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

hows the crunch on your super distortion bro? you know that ive been checking out the dd and ive been hearing about the brightness... its all so confusing lol

Re: dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

the Super Distortion crunch's very well if you ask me.
it's an excellent shredding pick also! gets rally smooth when in the upper register. i think i like it more than my DD. ::runs and hides behind tree::

lol, cool i mean at this point it seems like anything would be better then the duncan designed i have in there now, there so muddy!

Re: dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

it also depends on your amp settings. if you have all the bass up and thats it, then it'll obviously be muddy :D

Funny....heheh. I like my Full Shred. Sounds clean even with lots of distortion. I use it for RR-Ozzy stuff all the time. Sounds great!

fit yes, but do your string line up with the poles?? If not you "could" lose your lower E or your high E strings. That's why we have F spaced or Trembuckers so that those of us with Floyds or other trems dont have to be concerned on why I can hear my E strings as well as my others.

Yep, F-spaced. DiMarzio Super Distortion DP100F

Re: dimarzios fit in a floyd type bridge?

I have a new F- spaced super distortion for sale over at the trading post. sounds like randy rhoads on blizzard and dairy. to answer your question,
with a dimarzio and a floyd, go F-spaced definitely!
the regular spaced dimarzio will be too far off from the poles and strings lining up
