DiMarzios: using them w/ pickup covers

I was thinking about getting a PRS CE 22 and throwing a couple of DiMarzio Evolutions in there perhaps. 2 things:
1) Would I have to go with an F-spaced in the bridge and regular in the neck (it has a whammy bar).
2) Can you even use pickup covers with pickups that have the hexogon shaped polepieces? Or can you only use them with Duncan/PAF-like humbuckers that have one side of flat and one side of screw magnets (does this make sense)?

You will want to use the F-spaced bridge pup. I bet it's gonna be really fun finding a cover with 12 DiMarzio spaced holes, though.

Use F-spacing for the bridge. If you want covers, just use regular DiMarzio covers (they have them for both spacings) and set the pole screws on the side which will be covered flush with the bobbin. If you really need to preserve the look, replace the exposed screws with slot-heads. They're the same size screw (except for the Super Distortion/Super II).

What do DiMarzio covers look like?
