Direct to jack question

I'm going to put a switch between the 5 way and vol pot. Want to use it to send the hot direct to the jack when needed. What type of switch would I use? SP/ST On-On?

SPDT On-On; SPST is simply On-Off. Run the wire from the 5 way to the middle lug of the switch. Run a wire from one of the outer lugs to the volume pot, run a wire from the other lug to the output jack.
