Discovered a new sound on HT-5 with Wah turned on full

I found out that if i turn on my Wah pedal with Blackstar HT-5 it gives it an extra boost, especially good for heavy riffing. i boosted it with Boss SD-1 and the sound was definately not in the territory of good high gain, but when i turned on a Wah pedal and just leave it on full without touching it, it gave to an amp a whole new level of chunk and bass response, the amp then just sounded killer for heavy rhythm stuff. the Wah pedal is a classic, the cheapest one from Dunlop.

Is your HT-5 the original model or a Mk2 with the additional tone control? More importantly, does it still have the stock Chinese Celestion loudspeaker?

The amp is original, the first of the series without reverb. i runned it through Celestion G12H30 Anniversary speaker. i am looking for a sound near Dimebag. the amp itself with a overdrive pedal isn't capable to give me that kind of sound. but with Wah turned on full it gets near.

That makes sense.

Dime's tone is lots of bass, lots of treble, lots of gain, so yeah, that does make sense.

Fully cocked wahs also sound like a really aggressive/toppy treble booster.
