distance from string for SSL1

hi,
I have some problem with the search so I'm asking directly...
I have SSL1s mounted on my strat, I'd like to know if there is a 'default' distance between polepieces and bottom of the strings to start with, on neck and bridge position to avoid ghost notes and keeping a good tone.
Any advice is welcomed, thank you.
