Distortion/Jazz Coil tapped

Does anybody have experience with coil tapping either of these? The distortion is in the bridge, and the Jazz in the neck. I'm thinking about redoing all of the wiring in my guitar so I can take the tone knob out and turn it into a volume pot.

Tapped Jazz is AAAAWESOME. Clear as ****. Does anything the full Jazz doesn't. As for the Distortion, I'm pretty curious myself.

I used to have a DD/Jazz set in my schecter. I was a big fan of both of them tapped, separate and together. Here is a recording of both of them split and middle position on the switch. There is always nice twangy compliment with Jazz + anything in the middle position, but it seemed to work especially well with the distortion.
