Do Gibson LP knobs fit on Fender pots?

I don't want to pull any of my knobs off my guitars, to check for myself.
Will a Gibson knob fit correctly on a Fender strat pot?

You should be fine unless you've got a smooth shaft pot. The split shaft pots (by nature) are all adjustable as to how big of a hole they'll accomodate.

yup they fit i had speed knobs off a les paul on a tele and top hats on a strat in the past.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking of setting up an H-S guard with a 3 way switch and 2 Gibson knobs on Fender 250K pots.
