Hi All,

My question is does anybody know if the sound will change form plastic to wood?

It will not change the tone at all. Go ahead and personalise your Strat, you really don't have to worry about any change in tone, not from the pickguard and not from the covers! ;)

As long as the poles are still exposed, there should be no change.

Those look nice! They look like wood bobbins rather than covers, though.

That's pretty cool looking man... good way of giving your strat a cool unique look.

The wood won't change the tone at all.

What might alter is the height of the pickups.....due to the wood parts possibly being a bit thicker than the plastic ones. You might have to fiddle around to get back to where you were. Its probably better to make a measurement of how far the poles sit below the strings.
