Wilson Signature Wah in a Vox Union Jack shell.

Here's a pic I took for Mincer a while ago showing the zip ties holding it to my board:

I replaced the name plate on the front of the pedal with a 'Wilson Effects' plate.

Re: do you have a wah wah pedal????????????????????????

I have one in my G-System, but not an external pedal to control it. Let's just say that they are not for me.

Very cool. How different does it sound compared to a normal 847?

Before swapping the board it was a standard 847 in a cool looking case, but afterward it's literally a different wah:

Wilson Effects said:
Modeled after one of the most sought after wahs in the world the Signature Wah has been tuned to replicate the sound of my very own Clyde McCoy Signature Wah. Tuned side by side with this famous wah the Signature wah's stock setting delivers that fat, punchy, spongy sound that the Clyde McCoy wahs are known for. You're probably asking yourself stock setting what does he mean by stock setting? Inside the Signature wah there are a few trimmers that allow you to tune your Signature wah. The trimmers are marked for easy reference back to the original sound of the pedal. What trimmers are these you ask? There is a sweep trimmer that will increase the width of the sweep or decrease it. There is also a growl trimmer which will introduce more bass and gain or decrease it allowing you to sculpt the overall tone of the pedal. Last but not least there is a volume trimmer that allows you to tune the pedal to unity gain or boost it above that a bit so you can really cut through the mix. The Signature wah also comes with a built-in fuzz buffer ...

The stock setting he refers to is in the same ballpark as a Teese Picture Wah or Fulltone Clyde (Standard or the Deluxe set to 'Jimi').

Re: do you have a wah wah pedal????????????????????????

Then there's the question: True Bypass? Did your wah come that way or did you mod it for True Bypass? Done any other mods to it (them)?

Re: do you have a wah wah pedal????????????????????????

Yes but i prefer to call it my snarl pedal or my vomit pedal

Very cool, thanks for explaining it.

Re: do you have a wah wah pedal????????????????????????

I had Dunlop gcb95 with (modded?) tb switch. I hated the way it sounded.

Now I use EHX Worm. Wah in it is pretty subtle, but sounds very smooth and nice. I like it and works for me.

Re: do you have a wah wah pedal????????????????????????

I have a couple of vintage Thomas Organ Cry Babies, a 535 and a Digitech EX7. The EX7 is the one that gets used the most. It's very versatile. Plus, I can use it for other effects too.

WHY???? I have used my old George Dennis optical Wah often at Church for years like HERE https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=3873344. Nothing quite like whaling yer brains out in Church with a few thousand crazy worshipers bouncing off the walls out front --just sayin.
Own a pair of the big Orange George Dennis optical Wahs and a Vox.

If you had fed the Weeping Demon into an EHX Soul Preacher you would have been fine.

You use a GD Wah, he used a Weeping Demon. You don’t test Him.
