Do you know of any vintage solid-state amp forums

Re: Do you know of any vintage solid-state amp forums

Lol... You don't know about the other company that built electronics for both Schaller and Hofner?

This is not as simple as it seems.

Hey, I seriously thank you though.... You have obviously taken a few minutes out of your day to do this and I do appreciate it.

Although I do think a random Google search is good for everyone. Hahahahaha

Re: Do you know of any vintage solid-state amp forums

It seems like my Google is tapped out.

call me a conspiracy theorist but I seriously think that everyone's Google search options are limited to the algorithms of what they've already searched for.. or what's in the marketplace that they think would appeal to you.

Sadly our best resource for this kind of thing GoldenVulture has shuffled off this mortal coil.

I think Hofner never build amps by themself, because they were Luthiers. I have been once in Bubenreuth where they were located. But Schaller does metal work and electronics.

In this Village Bubenreuth and near Nürnberg there are/we're different companies of the music biz located including Bill Lawrence, Shadow, Framus, Gebrüder Kollitz, Hanika, Hoyer and of course Warwick. They all work together and supplied each other.

I'm pretty sure that you are right, but I know there was another company in there that was building for Schaller as well. Also, all the KV amps that I saw from Schaller were tube amps and this is ss.
