Do you like Ballbat necks?

Loving the Baseball bat profile neck on my Tele. Fills up my hand perfectly. You can really get a grip on the neck to wrestle some good playing too. I Expect it really helps fill out the tone too.
I suppose these are mostly for Tele, but maybe Strat too?
What about Les pauls?
I really like this bat thickness! Surprising casue I got fat but small hands.

Love 'em. I like the thick, soft V's even better, though. Like a baseball bat neck thickness, but with a very mild V to it.

I have pretty large hands. I love big necks. Kind of odd that my only remaining electric has a Gibson 60's neck on it, though admittedly it feels way fatter than any other 60's neck I've played on.

Never used to, but now I do. My holiday bobcat (which Ive been playing as of late) has a pretty thick neck, and I want a 50s LP.

A considerable portion of the guitar's tone comes from the neck. Given a choice, I'll take a bigger neck over a slimmer one.

Yes i do. My favorite guitars have a 1.2 inch asymmetrical neck. Round on the treble sife half-trapezoid on bass side. A w e s o m e feel.

Warmoth boatneck on the tele...great feel. The back of the neck just runs seamlessly into the back of the headstock....there's no offset

Got a big, fat '59 neck on my LP. Been playing it for over 10 years, so I'm used to it and it's comfortable and whathaveyou. Still, after playing my slimmed down Superstrat for a while, the Gibby always feel a but chunky and cumbersome for a while afterwards. It's not too bad, but I think it could do with a shave.

I find that guitars with big necks are easier for me to play. Almost all of my guitars have large necks.

Nope. I have little girl hands. Bigger necks cause unnecessary pain for me.

Agree. I discovered that I love "Soft V" profile when I bought my Tele Baja.

I had a 78 fender that had a big beefy neck... I loved that. I miss that kind of neck.

I used to, but what used to be my favorite neck (a ballbat Allparts TMO-FAT tele neck) is now the least played. It's just too stiff-- I can't get any relief in it, even using 12's. I much prefer thinner necks now. And I'm starting to lean towards thinner and wider. 1 5/8" nut width used to be my preferred, but I'm stepping up to 1 3/4" with the neck that I should be getting today.

i like a big neck as long as its the right shape. i dont really like v necks. the neck on my esquire is just about perfect for me. about 1" all the way down with just the right c shape. of course it helps when you make it yourself since you can shape it till its just right

Agree. I discovered that I love "Soft V" profile when I bought my Tele Baja.

I haven't tried that neck, but I hear it has a nice shape like that. What is the thickness? Just shy of an inch? You can tell because there won't be any "scoop" from the back of the head, or from the heel, into the center line of the neck. All three of those surfaces are in a line on a 1" neck.

I prefer fatter necks. I don't have the biggest hands but I'm an undisciplined rock player and thin necks make me cramp.

I prefer fatter necks myself. My favorite is Warmoth's Boatneck contour. I have that one on two Strats right now. My Focus 2000 has a pretty beefy neck too. With my big hands, the bigger necks are just more comfortable but I can get along with thinner profiles too.
