Re: do YOU use a wah pedal?
If it's a Cry Baby, you'll always have to stomp it to turn it on, unless you want to replace the switching system. Not sure how you'd do that.
The sweep and/or range can be adjusted tho. Remove the back, & you can press on the rack until it lets loose of the gear on the pot (you may have to loosen the nut on the pot). Then you can slide it up or down on the pot until you find the sweet spot.

I like it, and don't use it too much (I don't want to overuse it!), but I now want to try out other wahs to see if there's one that I like more than the basic Crybaby.
I like the tone from the Crybaby, but I don't like a couple of things:
1. Having to "stomp" it on and off. That's a little annoying, especialy when you're in the middle of a solo, or riff.
2. I don't like how the pedal travels down with little affect on the tone, then there's about a half inch where all the "shaping" of the tone occurs, then more travel with very little affect again. I have to really "finesse" that middle section.
Any suggestions to overcome these 2 things??
