Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get One Of These?

It's the part that goes on the back of the Dunlop Straplok to hold it all together. For some reason only one came with my set that came with my Charvel.

You should be able to find those at the hardware store. If I remember correctly they are called collar rings/washers. They have them in the screw drawers at the hardware store. Normally they are used to hold a bolt in place that has groove cut in it. The ring retains the bolt and stops it from sliding through a hole. I bet it goes around the part I have marked in red.

It might also be called a retainer clip. I had to replace one on my dremel tool when it wore out. I think those rings are also used for bearing races?

Yep. You're the man!! I just did a google image search and that's what they're called. You're also correct in that it goes in the place you had marked in red in your attached image. Thanks again!!

Just searched around some more. I think they're called E circlips. I definitely wouldn't have figured that out if it weren't for your help!!

at work they are call E-clips
they come in standard and metric
not real sure which the Dunlops are

Jolly you should throw those ****ty Dunlops in the trash and get some Schallers.

I think I may still have a full set of Dunlops that came on one of my Charvels that you can have if you want them.

LOL, that first sentence made me laugh.

I like Dunlop Straploks. One reason I like them is because I can just change the buttons on my guitars and just use one strap for Les Pauls, one strap just for SG's, one strap for my Explorer/V/RD, etc... because of the different positioning of where they are on the guitars. However, I think Schaller does that as well.

If you don't want the Dunlops, I'll definitely take them and be very appreciative of it. Just let me know.

i have a new set of Dunlops in the package and 2 of the ball bearings have fallen out, what a joke..i used to use a Schaller but i found it to be noisy when i would move around and the sound came through the body of the guitar...

i have never had a schaller fail me, i have them on all 37 guitars, & have been using them for over 20 yrs, just loctite, or superglue the nut & tighten the nut really tight, i had the dunlops & so has my brother, we both had probs w/them, when that damm c-clip/e-clip comes of ,it is usually lost,as in can't find it..

Schaller straplocks are much better. The Dunlop ones can fail.

Hit me up if Ayrton doesn't give you a set . . . I think that some came with my Charvel, and I took off the Dunlops with Shaller strap locks. If I can find the parts in my music room they're yours.

They are called "E" rings. Jolly if you know the size let me know I may have one for you! I use a ton of them in different sizes every day!
