Does anyone owns a Fender Vintera '50s Modified Telecaster here? with Lil 59 pups :)

Hi Guys -

I would like to seek for your help. I recently got my Little 59 pup. Can I have an idea or diagram on how to install it on my telecaster.

This video is exactly the same with my Telecaster for your reference [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4jKrosqtCM&t=101s]

I want to retain the original 4 way switch, S1 switch(flipping the phase like a strat sound) and volume/tone pots.

Maybe somebody have an idea on what switch should I split my Lil 59.. Thank you in advance!! :yourock:

Here's Fender's control plate wiring diagram for the Classic Player Baja Telecaster; which is what the Vintera Modified Tele is. Fender discontinued the Baja series and rebranded it as the Vintera Vintage Modified. Other than different finishes, the Vintera modified is the Baja series.

What do you want each position to do? 4–Way and S1...

Bridge (S1 up)
Bridge (S1 down)
Bridge / Neck Parallel (S1 up)
Bridge / Neck Parallel (S2 down)
Neck (S1 up)
Neck (S1 down)
Bridge / Neck Series (S1 up)
Bridge / Neck Series (S2 down)

If you want all the same functions but also split the Little 59, you could add a second S1 on the tone to do this... just a thought.

I just installed the little 59 for my Fender Vintera ‘50s modified telecaster and then I noticed that the S1 switch got inverted(off or up is now the out of phase mode) I don’t know how did it happen. I soldered the black wire in selector switch(on the pin where I unsoldered the old connection) and then I soldered the bear and green wire on top of the tone pot(where I unsoldered the old connection). I did not install any additional switch for option to split the coils(I just soldered the red and white wire then wrapped it with electrical tape)

Fender and Duncan are traditionally out of phase with each other. On your new Duncan, swap the Black and Green on the Duncan and you should be good.

Hi sir! You mean the green wire to the 3 way switch and the black wire will be soldered with bear then to the pots? Is that correct sir?
