Does SD Still Rewind Pickups?

If I'm not mistaken, you used to be able to send a pickup to SD and get it rewound for around $100 or $125. I was checking out the Custom Shop and it doesn't appear you can order a custom pickup anymore. It just gives a list of signature pickups but no options for customization. If they still rewind pickups, how do you get it done and how much does it cost?
 
I know they stopped doing this around the beginning of the pandemic. They may have restarted, but last I heard (a few months ago), they weren't doing this. Call to find out.

Well, when they were doing rewinds, if they just did a straight rewind of what was already on there, it was surprisingly inexpensive. But you could have anything you want with the rewind. You tell them the sound you want it to make and they'll work out the recipe. For that I believe the price was the same as a custom pickup.
 
We are doing rewinds & repairs - with some exceptions (epoxy'd, for example). Get in touch with the Customer Service team to discuss what you're looking for.
