Does the Am Std trem fit on Floyd routed bodies?

Does anyone know if the bolts and route pattern line up right?

I want to get a body that's routed for an original Floyd Rose, but install a regular Fender Am Std Tremolo on it? Is it possible, or will there be issues?

the OFR holes are 2.9375" center to center, the Americal Standard is 2.2" center to center...so no.

Thanks. Just from looking, it looks like it'd work......but numbers are numbers!

bah, numbers are overrated. The real deciding factor is the hammer and chisel method. Then clean up with the dremel.

What would the point of this be for? Would it be to try and get more up pull like a floyd rout allows?

my guess is he liked the color of it but doesn't want a floyd. am i right?

as for the route, a top mounted floyd route and regular strat route are the same but the post holes are wider on the floyd. if im not mistaken.
