Does this make you RANDY? I'm just getting started!

Re: Does this make you RANDY? I'm just getting started!

Did a quick hue adjustment in Photoshop, I'm really leaning towards Lime Ice Metallic.

No, no, no. Not polka dots. I hate the polka. Do tango dots.

I might do one in white (no stripes) with black hardware and white humbuckers. I have a few cans of white here that look like they might be a pearl-ish color.

Purple-Licious FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got another Rhoads body here and a King V on the way. Also have a few LTD F bodies that I'm strongly considering.

Purple-Licious and Orange will be happening eventually. ;)

Are you going to match the headstocks too? I think that is the cats meow.

Not the cleanest install in the world, but I did it by hand and only had a drill and chisel handy. The dremel is still in a box somewhere.

The jack doesn't look like it will hit the switch or pots in this spot.

I'm curious though, this seems like a great spot to put the jack for standing *and* sitting, so why don't more V shaped guitars have the jack here under the lower horn?

Agreed! Why route it so far when it's right there!

On the statement made "If you came into a million dollars would you still work on cheap guitars or buy something high end" or whatever the exact statement was I get where both guys are coming from.I can see 'dominus' has a passion in what he does and a lot of times you can turnout a gem or even your #1 from a tricked out low end guitar with the right parts and if everything aligns right. I have acquired 30+ guitars in my 40+ years years of playing and all but two are US built well made guitars. But my main guitar for ages was a MIJ 62-reissue I Tricked out with stacked humbuckers- medium jumbo fretwire- swapping the steel threaded saddles for Brass as well as rewiring the electronics. I bought that new in 85 for $400 and change and if I could only have one guitar that would probably be it. Why it sounds so good I have no f#cking clue as it was just like everything came together right. I have had some incredible players use it and it boggles their minds as well as every tech who has ever did a repair. That is when you know a guitar is special -When you don't say anything about the guitar and other players talk about it.
