Dogs and H's?

HI Everybody!

New on the forum, so go easy on me! :fingersx:

I recently bought a framus CS stack, 2 cabs 2x12 V30's. They sound great with the framus and my 2203 marshall. But the V30's dont really work with my AC30 Head.

I really like the sound of the Alnico Blue's, but i would like them not to break up as easily? I been looking at the weber alnico blue dogs (any thoughts on them?). Would it help me if i got a 30w dog? Or is it the fact that it is an alnico that makes i break up easily?

Also wondering if anyone has tried pairing a Celestion Blue/Weber Blue dog with a G12H30? How would that work?

Please help a confused gear fanatic! :help:

Hi and welcome to the forum...
I don't know sooo much about the Alnico Blue, but I think it IS the speaker which breaks up so early... I think that's what makes them so popular anyway...
Edit: Ah yes. and you have to consinder the VOX is only 30W too, so it is bound to break up early

Btw... the Framus cabs are good ha? (Look at my sig)

Thx!

I kinda like the way the ac30 breaks up! I just dont want as much speaker distortion as the Celestion Blue's put out....

Yeah the Framus ROCKS! Have you tried the CS top or the ruby riot? It's my new LOOOUUUVEEEE :smokin:

The CS top isn't exactly my taste, but I wouldn't mind to have one of those cobra tops... although I could never turn it up anyway... so I'm stickin' with my new Marshall... love that thing.
