I hate when I forget to take an amp off standby..that little moment of panic until I realize it.

Yeah, I almost went nuts back when I ran my Vox VT15 as a practice amp and I couldn't get any sound out of it. A few minutes later, I realized I was in manual mode and not in preset mode, with all the knobs on 0...

I once did that when i was repairing a Bugera. The look on the guys face was priceless.

A couple of things. I was fixing the attenuation on the effects loop, and I was installing a switchable slope resistor, one 33k and one 47k.

I left my amp on an entire day once. Scared the hell out of me. Still works and sounds totally fine though. Wonder what it did to my tubes.

I finished setting up for a gig and spent 10 minutes trying to figure why no sound.....what's wrong with my pedal board, etc?



I forgot to patch a cable to the amp input. :smack:
