Double Creme?

Re: Double Creme?

well the neck u can get pretty much anywhere...

but the double cream bridge has to be sold with cover and ordered as a floor custom I think...

Re: Double Creme?

Zebra is easy. The ouble cream you need to order with a cover ffrom the custom shop.

Re: Double Creme?

Double cream is really sexy and avialable.

Zebra is hot but you have to date her.

Double Black is the girl next door and you can live with it and be happy.

Covered is "like a virgin" and you need to work it to get something out of it but sometimes it can be hot.

It's all good, but I prefer blondes and if the guitar needs some double cream pups I'll order them from the custom shop. If you have a $1000 or more guitar what's another $100 or so.

Re: Double Creme?

Yesterday I fitted a Zebra PGn to go with my double cream BroBucker bro, and man, as well as sounding a killer combo... it does loook like the dogs danglies!!!! Thanks to GearJonser for that recommendation... I think it will stay like that! If you haven't heard a BroBucker you really need to, I can't explain the sound really... it doesn't sound like any other PUP I've heard. They do come up on here every now and then at great prices coz the forum guys what from I can gather like to keep the secret of the Bro within the S.D forum! Check it out.

Re: Double Creme?

I'm on the other end of the spectrum here and its most frustrating: I have an unused double creme PG bridge model pickup (no logo) which I'd use in the neck position and a barely used zebra Distortion bridge model pickup (w/logo) for the bridge position yet NO guitar to put this ultimate of combos in. WHY did I have to be born beautiful instead of rich?
