Well, I've had the SG for about a week, but I knew the LP was coming so I waited.

I picked them up used, so even more so. The build quality on both of these are great to. I can't find a single flaw on either. Well the SG has a ding, but it was user inflicted. Both are 2pc. bodies. No slop in the construction. Pickups suck really hard and I'm probably going to change the hardware, but for $925 shipped for both, I'm not complaining at all about either.

They both play great. The fretwork is excellent on both. Both have a 50's style neck, so they're kinda chunky but it's not bothering me any. Unplugged they both sound pretty good. The pickups suck, but I figured they probably would.

Both are 2 pc. center joined Mahogany w/ Maple necks. The LPJ has a Maple top.
Yes. Yes I do. Those are probably going to be DIY. Gibson hasn't made lefty Explorers in a long time. Won't even do one through the custom shop, or so I'm told. I also need a V and white LP Custom.

Still in the works bro. They were outta stock when I jumped on these. Recouping some funds and then SL-5 and Eleven Rack are top on the hit list w/ a few other surprises. Done w/ guitars for the moment though. I was working on more than I needed to be when these popped up and they new need some upgrades too! The wife is a betch'n. Gotta buy some wall hangers!
