Ive always been a HUGE crue head, but a GF I had back in highschool recorded a live concert they ran on the radio (king biscuit or something) and his tone and playing were aweful. Sounds like he was over washed in effects so it would mask poor playing. this was back in the day, so perhaps he was toasted..?? But in recent years, the tone is awesome!
