Dr.fong guitar head

I just bought this dr.fong head/amp???? It is a head, but it has two four inch speakers in it to whwre you can play it without a cab. Its 4 channel, and every cannel has e.q slides instead of knobs. Ive never seen one like this. It American made, made in knightstown Indiana and apparently they only built ftom ,86-92 then it burnt...I know nothing on this, cant find anything either. If anyone can point me in the right direction id appreciate it. All the channels work , just needs some cleaning and love!!!

Its a 100 watt power head, but has smsll speakers in it for when you dont have the externals hooked up. The company ran for srpynd six years I guess, then burnt down, went by another name then was bought by gibson. This thing is like a unicorn, I can't find **** on it!!!! Its been sitting, so ive gotta clean the switches, but it all works

Looks crazy cool. Definitely want to hear how it sounds when you get around to it. Cool idea with sliders per channel for eq.

I guess dr.fong made bass speakers and powerheads, thats why im stumped. But its amazing how loid it is with those two four inch speakers!!!! Really odd...if you guys come across ANYTHING, please fill me in

No mention of yours specifically but Dr Fong used to subscribe to that thread. Maybe someone can get ahold of him if you post there. That is a rare bird for sure. I bet with a 2 ohm minimum, it pumps out more watts than 100. Probably 100@8 ohms

Here's the inside of this odd head. Getting it cleaned out, found a mud dobbers nest in it!!! Lol.... and another odd thing about it, is thst its painted with a hard spatter paint instead of a vinal or covering. Will keep the progress updated.

could be cool. lots of tonal options thats for sure! just cause its 2 ohm stable doesnt mean it is super powerful, just that the tranny is decent enough to handle a 2 ohm load. you totally found a unicorn man

Thanks guys, the extra forum was and accident, thought I was putting it in another. Can't find anything on this amp, ive evening tried contacting the guy who built them. But, its not busted, so I really dont need help working on it, it was just filthy as hell!!! Knobs and sliders scratchy.. nothing a super cleaning and electronic cleaner cant fix!!! Putting it back together today!! Cant wait
