Re: DR Pure Blues Strings
Yea, I've been using the DR Pure Blues .011's for about 4 years now. They are great. Thick and musical with no harshness at all. I can't imagine going back to another brand. Would possibly consider trying the DR Tite-Fits just because I never have (tried the Pure Blues and never looked back).
I like hitting a chord and it sounds (and feels)..... solid and powerful. Muscular and steely but warm. Great sustain, high quality, not cheap.
Also (no one has mentioned this), DR's are pre-stretched (there is even a warning in the pack not to "over-stretch" them). A godsend if you break a string at a gig and have to change it real fast.
Other than the slightly "stiffer feel" of the Pure Blues, what are the differences between the PB's and the Tite-Fits? Is it just that the Pure Blues are warmer?
