Gear, I thought you didn't like the Singlecuts because they were basically a copy of the LP? What about your beloved McCarty? I have to say that you turned me on to PRS McCartys and now I also want one!

I'd love to have it, but $3500, or anywhere near that, is not gonna happen.

I love the color, the flame, the brazilian RW neck, and the two tone hardware. I'd be willing to bet that every person who dissed this guitar would change their tune, if they won it as a prize, then played it for a few weeks. The feel of that neck is something you would'nt grow tired of.

That just gave me a thought. I think my 'true dream guitar' would be a Les Paul Std with a curly Tiger's Eye top, a solid Brazilian RW neck w/binding, and this two tone gold/brushed aluminum hardware. MMmmmmm. I know, I'm crazy! LOL

Did someone mention "custom guitar?" I don't even know why I started this thread. I've got more than enough toys. I've pretty much sunk into my everyday players. I think I need to look at "dream guitars" like I need to crush my nuts with a hammer. :smash:

You know, Gearjoneser, when I see this fine quality, hand-crafted instrument, I have to wonder why you don't have it in your collection. I mean just look at the beautiful finish, and imagine how it would feel squeezing some soulful tones out of it. Just think, it COULD be plugged into your Ecstasy right now, singing away. I just don't understand it....
