Dual rectifier (TRUE) loop bypass? mod?

I want to get the dry tone of the amp with the external switching knob engaged so my footswitch can turn the fx loop on/off.

when the fx loop is turned off via footsitch the amp should be completely dry or have the same affect as the loop being bypassed like when the knob on the back is set to bypass loop. I find that the amp has more tone and girth when its completeley dry like a true bypass. I need the flexability of turning the loop on/off as to have either dry distortion or fx on the distortion on the red channel. The amp already does this except it automatically engages the master volume on the front panel. I feel this master volume steals tone and is unnecessary fo my application.

I want the tone of the amp like it is when the loop bypass knob on the back is engaged or just strait amp sound.

I also need the amp to be able to have the external switching feature enabled for using fx when needed on the distortion (RED) channel.

I use the Orange channel as clean and the Red as distortion. I use fx both on the orange and red channels sometimes. I mainly use the red channel dry except for leads and special patches where I need the fx loop enabled. I have a Digital music GCX and ground control that I use for switching the channels on the amp now.

The amp almost has this feature I want on the loop knob but I need it to be only strait amp (true bypass) unless the loop is turned on via the external switching jacks. I beleive the loop active master knob has something to do with the tone robbing and I figure maybe disabling this feature would fix my dilema.

I dont need the loop active master control knob so disconnecting it would be ok with me if it needs to be. If I can keep the knob on the back set at ext. switching and the amp is sounding like it does when its loop is true bypassed on the back knob via my footpedal I will be a happy camper
