Dumble amp on Reverb...

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

Hmmm . . . would Howard Dumble have misspelled his own name on the amp?

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

Ad says it was previously used by Joe Bonamassa. Not sure how to authenticate. Maybe the E rubbed off since it's 40+ years old?

Well, then, I'd better only get 2 this weekend.

While your at it you ought to pick up a set of these.

These four free-standing loud speakers were all released in 2017 and were designed by leaders of the industry, including the Danish brand Gryphon and the U.S. manufacturer Wilson Audio Modular Monitor. From a pair of modern sculpted, curvilinear speakers standing 7-feet tall to a pair of aluminum high-gloss speakers with 6 long-throw woofers, these audio masterpieces may set you back over $100,000, but they have been engineered for the discerning ears of true audiophiles – any one of these is sure to alter the way you enjoy sound at home or in the office. Read on to hear what these loudmouthed speakers have to say.

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

I can personally attest that Wilson Audio is no joke.

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

I have no doubt it's a great amp for going straight in from the guitar. As to how I'd feel about somebody spending that kind of money run it as a platform for drive pedals, well, it's already missing the E and you could take off the L too...

But hey, if money were no object I'd snag one.

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

I wonder if I can tell the difference between $100k speakers and mere $80k speakers. It must be nice to look down on those who only spend $70k on a set of speakers. Savages.

Re: Dumble amp on Reverb...

+1000 Dave Wilson is to audio speakers, what Seth Lover is to guitar pickups. Easy going, laid back, and passionate about what he does. Folks here would like him.

Seth Lover never wanted a hundred grand.... hell he probaby never even made a hundred grand a year in salary

Probably not as much money in the materials for a humbucker, as the materials for a Wilson Audio Modular Monitor. ;)
