I’ve only played one dimarzio bridge pickup and it was the d activator and i was all mids with no lows and thin high just sounded weak for chugs but good for articulation

Makes sense since the omega was based off of a dactivator bridge

Strange since I love the omega pickup and hate the dactivator
The omega has more of everything to me, more chord definition while having more low end balls and more grind in the high end

Fair enough, I’ll probably order my first custom in about 4 months and am going to go for the juggernauts in it

Regular d activator, I will probably replace it with a Lawrence xl500 or dimarzio x2n and I’m using the particular guitar for death and Pantera style riffing in D

Looking at daemoness despite the infamous wait times
Will be doing two builds at once
An ormsby which will take 10 months while the waiting list on the daemoness is just brutal but so well regarded
