Duncan Custom... blackened?

I like the Custom. I don't quite love it because I think the bottom end is too much. I tried the stock ceramic, Anico 5, and a double thick ceramic magnet in it, and I think the issue was worse with both the A5 and the thick ceramic. Stock, it sounded the best to me.

I kinda want to give it another chance, though. I do love the high-end aggression it has. I though what would fix my issue with it is having a dual row of hex screws. So I think of two possible solutions for that. Either I order a blackened a Blackened Custom as a Custom Floor (is that possible?) or I get a Full Shred and swap the magnet to a regular ceramic (would that get me in the ballpark?)

What would you do in this case?

I don't have the Custom right now, so I'd have to get another... but would that mean removing the keeper bar off the screws?

Honestly, part of the reason why I want the FS or the Blackened Custom is because it looks cool, LOL.

I always thought that the full shred was a custom with short allen head poles and A5 mag
