Duncan Designed in DK2 Dinky

Havent been on the forums for a while partly because of a hurricane. Well, i'm thinking about a Jackson DK2 Dinky. It has the Duncan Designed HB102B in the bridge and Sc101s in the Mid and Neck. This guitar has almost everything i'm looking for at a good price, but are these pickups going to work? I'm going for a good general 80s metal sound. Thanks in advance.
Btw, how much would a used Dean Evo Special sell for? Its in excellent condition.

Re: Duncan Designed in DK2 Dinky

I WOULD SAY TRY THESE COMBOS

JBb/VINTAGE RAIL/ COOL RAIL

CUSTOMb/VINTAGE RAIL/COOL RAIL

OR INSTEAD OF THE COOL OR VINTAGE RAILS TRY THE LIL 59'.

MY PATHETIC .02 CENTS

P.S. A REAL EXPERT SHOULD REPLY SOON

Re: Duncan Designed in DK2 Dinky

There decent, but I'd definitally replace them, unless your ears haven't developed enough to hear the difference in tone.

Because it's an alder bodied guitar, I'd go with a Custom/Hot Rails/Hot Rails or JB JR.
