duncan designed wiring Question?

i have an esp guitar with a duncan designed HB-102 in the bridge, its wired from the factory with the green wire hot, black wire ground, i have read that all duncans have black hot wires, whats the deal?

The global polarity has been reversed in order to match the other pickup, which does not necessarily have the same polarity and colour coding.

As long as it sounds OK, don't worry about it.
