Hi guys....

I have new pickups in my PRS Mccarty and LP Standard - both WCR pickups.

I also have the Duncan C-5 in a Dean and love that.

I am contemplating on a possible replacement for an LP Classic that has the stock 500T and neck companion. I want to keep ceramics in this guitar and have thought of a few replacements such as the WCR Herc which is supposed to be tremendous souding but expensive, the SH-5 Custom, or the SH-6 Distortion.

Thanks for any advice.

The custom will sound closer to the classic les paul kind of sound than a distortion will. It sounds just like a beefed up PAF.

Thanks! I was thinking the WCR Herc because it is supposed to be big, fat nad complex and very tight...but versatile as well.

I am installing WCR Fillmores into my McCarty and Shredders into my LP Standard but thoguht about some Duncans for my LP Classic.
