which of these 2 humbuckers is better suited for a rythm guitar player in a modern rock band? the sh6 distortion or the sh4 jb humbucker? i'm summed my humbucker choices down to those 2.

i play in a punk-ska band for many years.
we played personnal song, but thetype is similar to nofx, pennywise millencolin and co, so lot of rythm guitar.

the sh6 hasn't enough bass!!!
i have a sh5 in my les paul and it is really very good

People will say the JB is more versatile. They are the same pickup with different magnets. Yeah Alnico V in a JB will make a warmer sounding pickup and for rhythm that's not a bad thing. On the other hand if it's a modern rock type setting and the guitar is tuned down a bit I'd go with a DD (one of my personal favorites).
