i got a set of ssl-6 in my strat now, pretty hot p-ups
i'm about to start another strat project want more of a srv bluesy tone. what set would you recomend.

I love my APS IIs. Vintagey but with some muscle. Rocks!

If you're tring to get a SRV sound then the Texas Specials would be something to check out.

I never did like the Texas Specials.

Hellrider, do this...do a search in the vault section, Lew did an amazing thread a while back about the ultimate Strat tone...lots of guys made additions to it, and it serverd as my Bible when I built my black strat, and I still use a lot of the info from that thread today!
