Thanks Artie! Since putting the K & K trinity western pickups and microphone in my Taylor, I sold my Takamines that I was using the Mama Bear with and just don't need the Mama Bear. It's a great unit for making piezo's sound like a Martin D-28 ...but the K & K unit isn't a piezo pickup and it comes with it's own preamp that sounds great through my SWR California Blonde amp without the need for another preamp. The Mama Bear is awesome for making an Ovation or Takamine piezo sound like an acoustic guitar played through a mike. But the K & K pickups sound fine on thier own. Lew
