Duncans in my Yamaha??????

I recently purchased a Yamaha RGX 121s electric guitar. you can see an image of it here


Should I take out the ceramic factory pickups and install a Seymour Duncan Alnico pro II tele pickup and Alnico pro II humbuckers ?
Why?

why not? But are you unhappy with the tone? What don't you like about it? If you're fine with the stock pickups however, don't replace them

Ummm, I don't think a Tele pickup would fit your guitar. I think a strat pickup would be a better match.

what kinda tone are u looking to get?
what styles of music do you play?
as for why, hmmm you should change it if u feel that the tone of ur axe sucks.
if u think they sound alright to you then theres not much of a need to change them

The alnico 2 pro humbuckers are not trem spaced. That guitar has a tremolo so the poles of the bridge pickup will not line up with the strings. You can still use them, but I am anal about things like that.
