Dunlop/MXR pedals

Re: Dunlop/MXR pedals

I use the DoubleShot for now, and am rather satisfied with it. I have the top channel set for classic JB style tones, and the bottom has barely any gain to get that slighly overdriven sound.

Of course, I agree with most thus far, dont stick to one brand, try out other pedals and go for what you like best. I got wrapped up in the brand thing and had a pedal board full of Digitech pedals (wrong brand to begin with!!!). Now the only pedals I own by Digitech are the Metal Master, which I can't seem to give away, and the RP300 which I wouldnt wish upon anyone. There are several MXR/Dunlop pedals in which I have interest such as,
10-band EQ
Phaser 90/100 maybe even EVH
Dyna-Comp
SmartGate
Dunlop Wah

Of course, I will give them a test drive first. I am tired of owning expensive paperweights!!

That's awesome, Let me put in some input on the Dunlop Crybaby Wah. I Love that puppy. Try the classic(used by slash among others), also check out the jimi hendrix copies. Crybaby is one pedal I couldn't do without.
Also the Phase 90 is a great pedal, works well for me because it has the kind of phse sound I want. I had a digitech phaser and had to search around for the sound I want. MXR phase 90 keeps it simple, and if it works for EVH, it works for me.
Rock On :smokin:
