Duo-sonic/Mustang pickguards.

I was wondering if anyone here knows if in 1965 the pickguards are the same on Fender's Duosonic and Mustang guitars. I ask because I have a 65 Duo with no pickguard and can only find Mustang pickguards on the net. Thanks for the info everyone. :burnout:

I believe the '65 Duo-Sonic is essentially a Mustang with a hardtail instead of a vibrato.

You should be able to use a Mustang pickguard without a problem.

Chandler makes them as well... we custom ordered them for custys all the time at GC.
