So, here’s a pedal.

The Depths is our take on the classic optical vibe circuit. Now you can swab the decks with the same lush, pulsating, three-dimensional swirling sound you know and love, with some modern accouterments for all you land-lubbers out there.

The Depths is optimized for use with all kinds of instruments, pickups, and to play well with dirt, so nobody’s left waiting on shore. If it’s got a ¼” output, plug it in and get deep!

Best of all, it’s got an octopus! Undersea adventures!

Yes it is. Not 100% vintage sounding, but really tweakable.

This is (one) of the videos that made me want it:

Re: Earthquaker Devices: The Depths

What percent vintage sounding would you say it is?

Re: Earthquaker Devices: The Depths

Thanks for venturing to put a number out there.

Re: Earthquaker Devices: The Depths

I really wanted to like this pedal, but couldn't set it the way that I like to hear a uni-vibe. It just sounded . . . off. I just used it with a 9 volt adapter though, maybe it would have been better with an 18V one. It was like the knobs were too interactive with each other, I found it complicated to tweak.

Sounds like my kind of pedal. User friendly guitar products can just get in the bin, tbh.

Yes, I agree. I’m thinking of trying the latest Fulltone. So far I’ve been impressed by all the Fulltones I’ve had.

I have an old School Deja 2 on my big board and it's pretty awesome. I know that Mike Fuller is kind of a d***, but he makes a few good pedals.
