I have a Seymour Duncan humbucker and single coil. I want to split the humbucker, run them in parallel and have them humcancelling.

Assuming the single coil is equialent to the North side of the humbucker and the single coil is wired normally (white-->hot) then...

humbucker red-->hot, green-->ground

thanks

humbucker red-->hot, green-->ground

The red and green wires will give you the "Screw coil" of the humbucker, which has South magnetic polarity.

Assuming you have a North polarity single coil, they will attract when you position it face to face with the screw coil of the humbucker.

If your single coil is from Seymour Duncan, the wiring polarity will be correct as you wrote it. However, if the strat pickup is from Fender or some other makers you may need to reverse the polarity of the single coil.
