Ebay SCORE!!

This one just bid out and sweating this one. It is listed as an import Washburn A-10 but that is NOT what this is!!
Note the USA printed on the headstock, the Shaller Floyd, Duncans, contured neck heel, triple ply binding ect. This is NO A-10 Import :naughty:
This is a ULTRA rare A-30 ARTIST USA Chicago Custom and the first one I have ever even seen outside of the 1996 Washburn Catalog I have. I bet there were less than 100 of these guitars built and they are listed as even exsisting no where on the net or in the Washburn archives!!
I snagged it for get this $276:bling: :naughty::naughty::cool2:!! Man I just STOLE this thing!

Maybe it's like a Dean I took in awhile back. It was advertised as an import. I got it, took it to a couple Dean dealers and showed it around. Really odd guitar. Was a USA model, had a USA serial number and all USA markings, but also had a factory decal by the number that said "KOREA". None of us ever figured that one out. One of the dealers bought it to keep as an oddity.

Almost overlooked this one bro. The Shaller and the pickups are what caught my eye at first and then the triple ply binding. When I looked harder and saw the rear shot and the smooth blended neck heel and then the headstock shot with the USA and the USA CS style truss rod cover I knew exactly what it was. Had I not bought the MG 104 from Crecent and had them send me that 96 Washburn cat I would have never caught it though. This one is so rare there is absolutely NOTHING out there on the net or at Washburn about it exsisting. There was only the info in that 96 catalog with photos and specs. Every last detail matches the catalog photo and specs and the SN dates it as a 96 the only year these were made so:cool2::cool2:!
Pickups are a JB trembucker and a 59 and it's solid Honduras mahogany with the Quilt maple top so this thing should be a flat out tone monster!!

I had an all black '81 or '82 A10 that I sold in the late 80's. It was loaded with Shaller P/ups.
