Yeah, like my opinion means a thing to him...or to Christian ! :laugh2:

Don't mean to bag on anyone & "sucks" was a strong word.

I'd just rather hear the guy play instead of use the whammy on every single note......WAY overused for my liking :dunno:

just HOW difficult is it to get tapes for these things Christian?

I always thought this was a big issue, and one reason alot of players just moved onto the bucket brigade or digital.

Jeff, I haven't actually gotten any tapes just yet butso far I don't think it's gonna be too bad. I already know that, for me it's gonna be well worth it so Im not worried too much...hell, if I have to I'll go buy a reel of ampex tape and rewind the damn things!

BTW, that is an Esquire...it's one of those MIM 50's reissues that I modded a little...electro socket, compensated brass saddles, orange drop caps and most importantly...a Joe Barden pickup!

I'll tell ya this...I have already plugged up both the Tele and the Esquire into my V Front Super with the Echoplex, a wah and a Fuzz inline...old school Page ALL DAY!!!
