well, i don't suppose theres any kind of reverse attentuator that ADDS volume between the lines, correct?

either way, i need more volume for practicing. Not even a peavey 5150 is loud enough

LOL! You can't be serious? For practicing? I can make the walls come down with a 50 watter. Are you already deaf at your age?

Something's not right here. What cab were you running the 5150 into?

I . . . yah, this is weird. I know from the way I look at it, anything over 60Tube watts is about 3miles up the hill past Overkill. . . And yah man, looks . . . Who cares? People care about a good show, good tone (thats sometimes questionable, depends on the person), and good players . . . Not whether or not the lead player is mic'ing his amp or not . . .

well theres only one person that has a good enough PA to pull that off, and he's picky & unreliable

Well, you're basically making a PA for yourself. So why would you rather run it direct then mic? Either way, it's using a PA.
