IDK why but MXR Phase 90 just sound great thru the front and not the loop.

It's not just a phase 90 thing. I think most phasing/univibe style effects sound better before distortion.

Me too. I always have my phasers and flangers before. Chorus is more optional for me.

Agreed. I do like a good analog delay out front too in certain instances. The Boss DM-2w and MXR Carbon Copy work great in the front of the amp, especially when set to a quick slap back delay with 1 or 2 repeats. Anything else, in the loop.

I generally agree. Phasers in front, definitely; either can work with flangers, but I prefer them in front; choruses can do both, but generally sound best in the loop.
